The Lafayette Cloud Jockeys is a charter club of the Academy of Model
Aeronautics (AMA). It is a family oriented club and boasts between
70 and 100 members.
Our pilots range in age from less than 10 years old to over 80 years of
Age.
All members are required to carry liability insurance provided by
membership in the AMA. This insurance includes over $ 2,000,000.00
worth of liability coverage for each member for claims against property
damage and personal injury. It costs $ 48.00 per year for senior, open
membership, and is paid directly to the AMA.
